Researching Colleges
Information about colleges or universities can be found in your
school's counseling office and career center, at presentations made
by college admissions staff, at college information fairs, by requesting
it directly from the college, and on college Web sites. This section
of Post-ITT is designed to help you find the information you need
by using the Internet.
Oregon and Washington Colleges
Post-ITT was developed with the help of disability services coordinators
in Washington and Oregon. Find information on how to get in touch
with them and links to their Web sites by selecting the appropriate
link in the left navigation column.
Using Internet Search Engines
Almost all colleges can be found using a search engine such as
Google.com™ or Yahoo.com™. Many pages on the main Post-ITT
Web site have search box where you can search by a college's name.
You will find this in the right hand column.
Using the Google Universities Option™ menu, you can narrow
your search to the Web sites of the colleges that interested you.
Click the "Finding Colleges Anywhere" link in the left
navigation column for more information.
