Start again with the Planning Worksheet
to determine how to use this section.The worksheet asks you, your
son or daughter, and others on the IEP committee to rate the following
statements on a three
point scale.
Your son/daughter has identified:
- Colleges that match interests with academic programs and support
needs
- Admission requirements in colleges of interest
Your son/daughter has completed:
- Pre-college admissions and/or placement testing
- Competitive college applications, supporting letters, and essays
- Financial aid application
- Establishing eligibility for services by meeting with the disability
services coordinator
To help prepare for the next (junior year) IEP
meeting use the
Applying
to College Section.
Following your rating of
statement, there is space to record questions, concerns or thoughts,
for the IEP committee. Copy and take it with you to the meeting.
If you are not having a meeting, complete the rating form to help
decide where to start.
