Two year schools usually require placement testing
to ensure college readiness. Scoring below college level will result
in a referral to Adult Basic Education or developmental classes.
These courses are taught with the aim of increasing the student's
skill to enable him or her to enroll in college level classes. Students
with appropriate disability documentation can be qualified for testing
accommodations through disability services or the testing office.
Contact individual schools for specific procedures.
The
ASSET
and the
COMPASS
are widely used placement tests. For information visit the ACT Web
site for additional information.
