The student learns about assistive technology and how it can be used.

Activities 11 and 12

Activity 11: The student learns about how everyday items can be used as assistive technology.

Activity 12: The student develops a plan and tries out everyday items as assistive technology.

Activities 13 and 14

Activity 13: The student learns more about the assistive technology they currently use (current AT users only).

Activity 14: The student evaluates their current assistive technology by talking with a professional (current AT users only).

Activities 15 and 16

Activity 15: The student learns about "high tech" assistive technology and how it can be used (non AT users only).

Activity 16: The student speaks with others who have expertise in assistive technology (non AT users only)

Activity 17:

The student develops and implements a plan for using assistive technology.
