Activity 36The student learns about legal rights and responsibilities in high school and college, under federal laws: IDEA, Section 504 and the ADA. Activity 37The student learns about the requirements and demands of college course work. Activity 38The student learns about the range of services available through disability services as well as the differences between colleges. Activity 39The student learns about assistive technology available at colleges of interest. Activity 40The student learns how to qualify for disability services at college. Activity 41 - 42Activity 41: The student makes an appointment with a disability services coordinator. Activity 42:The student coordinates a phone conference with a disability services coordinator. Activity 43The student meets with disability services to establish eligibility following admission to college.
