Activity 18

The student identifies personal interests using an interest inventory. The resulting interests are then related to careers.

Activity 19

The student learns about career choices related to interests and skills through research using the Occupational Outlook Handbook.

Activities 20-22

Activity 20: The student learns about setting and achieving goals through interviewing adults whom he or she respects.

Activity 21: The student identifies interests, future hopes and possible careers and later gets feedback from a trusted adult.

Activity 22: The student develops an education goal based on interests and skills.

Activity 23

The student develops a plan to take the high school classes required to reach the goal set.

Activity 24-25

Activity 24: The student develops a planning calendar to help stay on track.

Activity 25: The student updates the planning calendar.
