These activities focus on goal setting. In Activity 20, students conduct an interview with an adult they admire, to find out how he or she got to where they are in life. Next, in Activity 21, students have a discussion about their own goals and gather feedback from an adult. Both of these activities have a worksheet to assist in organizing the information. Using the information from these two activities, students write a very specific educational goal in Activity 22 that they will present and discuss at their next IEP meeting.
