Summary of Applying to College

The previous sections of Post-ITT Guidance Activities have dealt with developing insights, skills and plans related to going to college. This Applying to College section uses what was learned from previous sections to help students actually make application for admission. Students take entrance tests, make applications, request letters of recommendation, and arrange for financial aid. As their teacher, you must coordinate your efforts with their parents and counselors. Together you will help your students take the necessary steps to actually be admitted to college.
