Summary

As with many of the Post-ITT Activities, the Assistive Technology Activities only introduce a concept. Finding and learning to use technologies is a life-long process. As we learn more about ourselves, we are better able to find technological solutions that will help us. As new technologies are developed, new learning opportunities emerge. Revisit the question of what technological solutions can accommodate disability as your students progress through high school. Emphasize that they need to take control of this aspect of their lives. If they do, they will notice improvements both now and in the future.
