Using the Post-ITT Guidance Activities is a comprehensive way of preparing students to make good decisions about their support needs before they go to college. The Activities do not cover general topics important to all students, such as developing good study habits and a realistic budget, because many resources already exist in these areas. The 45 Guidance Activities are organized in six sections:
Each Activity requires students to research, process, report, take action and sometimes, repeat a step. Students are expected to take the initiative in most Post-ITT Activities by using the Internet and conducting in-person interviews. The Post-ITT Web site provides a portal to much of the necessary information. Take a moment to browse through he Activities before you continue with this training module.
